William and Catherine attended the Calgary Stampede Parade called the, “99th Incarnation of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.”  The couple were the guests of honour.

Catherine wore a white Temperley blouse, dark Goldsign jeans, and brown suede boots. The accessorized with a belt Catherine has been seen wearing for years, Corrie McLeod turqouise earrings, and a Tiffany & Co. "Diamonds by the Yard" bracelet. She finished the ensemble with a White ten gallon hat by Smithbilt, a gift to the couple which she graciously adorned.

William and Catherine began the day by attending the Canadian Citizenship Ceremony at the Museum of Canadian Civilization. The couple then handed out celebration flags to the new citizens before attending the Canada Day Noon Show at Ottawa's Parliament Hill, which had over 500,000 in attendance. William, and the Prime Minister, both made speeches.

Catherine dressed for Canada day by honoring the Canadian flag. She wore the Reiss "Nanette" dress, previously worn in the couple's engagement photos. Catherine wore a red hat with maple leaves by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock & Co, and cherry "Albini" heels by Hobbs. She accesorized by using a red Anya Hindmarch "Fan Clutch," and wearing the Queen's maple leaf brooch and a Tiffany & Co. "Diamonds by the Yard" bracelet.

William and Catherine officially announced their Engagement on November 16, 2010. The official announcement came from the Prince of Wales' twitter account , Clarence House.

"The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton"

The Queen, and Buckingham Palace responded from their own twitter:

"The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are absolutely delighted at the news of Prince William and Catherine Middleton's engagement."

William presented Catherine with his mother, Princess Diana's sapphire and diamond engagement ring from Garrard's. He proposed on a private holiday in Kenya.

Catherine wore a long sleeved, royal blue, Issa wrap dress with black heels. She wore her hair down, with large curls at the end.
