Catherine and Prince William had split in April, 2007, forcing people to speculate that was the reason behind her less demure dress choices.

Catherine attended the Princess Diana Memorial Concert at Wembley stadium. The concert, organized by Princes William and Harry was held on what would have been Diana's 46th birthday, 10 years after her death. The concert featured some of Diana's favorite artists such as Duran Duran and Elton John. William and Catherine were separated at the time, however, Catherine, and her escort, her brother James, were invited to view the concert from the Royal Box.
