William and Catherine had a busy last day in California. The couple left the British-Consul's home at about 10 a.m. and headed to Inner-City Arts on skid row in Los Angeles. The couple toured the facility, visited with homeless people and participated in each painting their own artwork. Following that visit, the couple headed to a job fair for returned serviceman at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. William spoke at the event and they each helped to wrap care packages for children who have parents serving overseas. The couple then attended a reception for the launch of the Circle of Tusk Trust Foundation which was also attended by celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon. The couple then departed for the UK aboard a British Airways flight at around 4pm.
Catherine wore a black Whistles crocheted cardigan and cream Whistles pleated skirt. She wore navy blue suede heels by Prada, and Diana's sapphire diamon earrings, converted from posts to drops.
