William and Catherine departed Calgary after a ceremony at Calgary Rotary Challenger Park, attended by 3100 people, where they laid a wreath at a wall honoring Canadian soldiers who died in Afghanistan. They also witnessed a 21-gun salute. The prince inspected the guard of honour and the band played O Canada.

Catherine wore a flowy, red, Catherine Walker coat, adorned with the Queen's loaned maple leaf brooch and taupe LK Bennett heels.

William and Catherine attended the Calgary Stampede Parade called the, “99th Incarnation of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.”  The couple were the guests of honour.

Catherine wore a white Temperley blouse, dark Goldsign jeans, and brown suede boots. The accessorized with a belt Catherine has been seen wearing for years, Corrie McLeod turqouise earrings, and a Tiffany & Co. "Diamonds by the Yard" bracelet. She finished the ensemble with a White ten gallon hat by Smithbilt, a gift to the couple which she graciously adorned.

William and Catherine attended the opening ceremonies for the Calgary Stampede. The couple was able to press the button the officially started the stampede. The Smithbilt hats were gifts to the couple.

Catherine wore a more casual outfit consisting of a Temperley London blouse, dark Goldsign jeans, and brown suede boots, finished off with the white Smithbilt hat.

William and Catherine arrived at Calgary International Airport and received a welcome from 6-year old Diamond Ann Marshall who suffers from stage IV undifferentiated sarcoma. Diamond broke with royal protocol and hugged Kate, who returned the hug. After their arrival, the couple visited the University of Calgary medical research center where they toured the facility and unveiled an honorary plaque.

Catherine wore a loose-fitting silk Jenny Packham dress in canary yellow. She wore her nude LK Bennett heels and accesorized with her LK Bennett "Natalie" straw box clutch. The dress featured a small collar, buttons up the front, and a cinched waist
