William and Catherine were the guests of honour at a concert celebrating Canada Day. The couple enjoyed the Great Big Sea, Tragically Hip, and Weezer for about a half an hour before leaving for a private event to watch a fireworks finale.

Catherine wore a purple wrap Issa dress, with black heels, and a black Anya Hindmarch "Maud" clutch in black. Catherine wore the Queen's maple leaf brooch and her hair in an up-do.

William and Catherine attended an informal youth BBQ at Ottawa's Rideau Hall, which was moved inside at the last minute because of unexpected rainfall. The couple talked with guests and enjoyed a sampling of Canadian foods.

Catherine wore the Issa birdprint dress, previously worn as she arrived at the Goring Hotel, the night before her wedding, and Pied-a-Terre "Imperia" slingback wedges. She accessorized with Vinnie Day Earrings.

Catherine stepped out to do some shopping, the morning of the Ark Charity Gala. Kate ran errands including stopping into milliners' Lock & Co. (perhaps to pick up the hat she would were June 11.) She carried her own bags although she was accompanied by her royal protection officers.

Catherin wore Issa's "Lucky" dress in fuschia. She has previously worn this dress in white and black. She also wore LK Bennett "Greta" wedges in black.

Catherine arrived at the Goring Hotel, along with mother Carole, and sister Pippa the day before her wedding to Prince William. She looked relaxed and happy. Also staying at the hotel are her father Michael, and her wedding dress designer, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who attempted to sneak in undetected:

She wore her hair loose and unstyled, probably in prepartion for it being styled the following day for the wedding by her longtime hair stylist, James Pryce of the Richard Ward Salon.

Catherine stepped out for some last minute shopping on the King's Road, a little over a week before the wedding. The shopping trip reportly lasted about 20 minutes. She stopped in British store, Warehouse, the equivalent of the American chain, TJ Maxx. She reportedly bought four sundresses, perhaps for the upcoming honeymoon.

William and Catherine officially announced their Engagement on November 16, 2010. The official announcement came from the Prince of Wales' twitter account , Clarence House.

"The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton"

The Queen, and Buckingham Palace responded from their own twitter:

"The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are absolutely delighted at the news of Prince William and Catherine Middleton's engagement."

William presented Catherine with his mother, Princess Diana's sapphire and diamond engagement ring from Garrard's. He proposed on a private holiday in Kenya.

William and Catherine attended the wedding of Harry Meade and Rosemarie, "Rosie" Bradford. Harry is a longtime friend of William's. The pair each had a tan, from a recent safari in Kenya, which would later be revealed to have been where the couple became engaged. Engagement rumours were extremely high at the time due to this being the first time the couple had been seen in public together for 104 days. The couple also had usually attended events, arriving separately to avoid attention, however the couple arrived together to this event. Leaks that the Royal Mint had been commissioned to create a commemorative wedding coin had also been spread. The couple appeared relaxed and happy, most likely due to their, then secret, engagement.

Catherine wore a striking cobalt blue dress by Issa. She topped it with a basic black blazer and wore black heels with a black, wide brimmed Philip Somerville hat. She wore her hair down.

William and Catherine attended the wedding of friends, David Jardine-Paterson and Emilia d'Erlanger. Emilia is an ex-girlfriend of William's, and David is the brother, of Kate's sister's ex-boyfriend, JJ.

Catherine wore a red wrap dress by Issa featuring an opening in the back. She wore patent black heels and carried a black Aspital of London "Eaton" clutch with a chain. She accessorized with a red, feathery fascinator, and Cassandra Goad "Temple of Heaven" earrings.

Catherine and a friend attended Wimbledon in kate June, 2008. William had recently been stations on the frigate, Iron Duke in the Carribbean, and was therefore, absent.

Catherine wore a white Issa "Lucky" dress, topped with a black cardigan. It was later revealed in 2011, the Catherine had unexpectedly been given the good seats, and had written a thank-you letter to the staff, see below.

Catherine wore an Issa "Lucky" dress in black with a sheer neck. You can see, in the photo of Catherine dancing with Chelsy Davy, that the dress is also sheer on the back and under the arms. She topped the dress with a pink double breasted blazer. She wore satin pink heels and a black pillbox hat, with bow to the back and light veiling. She carried a Prada pink box clutch.
