William and Catherine attended the wedding of William's cousin, Zara Philips, daughter of Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, to Mike Tindall. The wedding was held at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Catherine chose to recycle several items. She first wore here favorite, LK Bennett Sledge2 pumps in taupe. She wore a pink Collette Dinnigan dress that she previously wore to Laura Parker-Bowles' wedding in May 2006 and a book signing of 'Young Stalin,' in May of 2007. Kate also recylced the Day Birger et Mikkelsen coat which she previously wore to the Parker-Bowles' wedding in May of 2006 and a wedding in Scotland in May of 2010. She accesorized with a previously seen, LK Bennett "Natalie" straw box clutch. She made the outfit new by adding a custom made hat by Gina Foster millinery. The beige hat featured a disk shape, which beige flowers tucked underneath.
It is specualted that Kate wore the toned down shades and recycled outfits as to not outshine the bride.
